樊良新，男，汉族，1979年1月生，安徽六安人，博士，教授，博士生导师。河南高校哲学社会科学优秀学者，河南省高校科技创新人才，河南省高校哲社创新团队首席专家，河南省自然资源学理事/土地资源专业委员会秘书长。2012和2014年荷兰瓦赫宁根大学（Wageningen UR）访问学者。主要从事区域可持续发展、乡村地理与资源管理、自然资源信息技术与综合研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金等国家级项目4项、其他省部级课题8项；获河南省高校人文社科优秀成果特等奖、河南省科技进步奖等奖项5项。近年来，在《Journal of Rural Studies》、《Resources, Conservation and Recycling》、《Journal of Cleaner Production》、《Science of Total Environment》、《Water Resource Management》等期刊发表论文80余篇，出版著作5部。担任20多个国际学术期刊审稿人。
